Log Cabin Quilt-As-You-Go Quilt

Sew Take A Hike has a tutorial showing how to make a log cabin "quilt-as-you-go" quilt. I don't know how many times I have said I want to do a "quilt-at-you-go" quilt and this could be the one that makes me take the leap.

Wonky Log Cabin Block

John from Quilt Dad has a nice clear tutorial on how to make a wonky log cabin block. I always love the quilts I see around blogland using this block and would love to make a quilt one day.

Sew Along

Kelly is having a Sew Along using a charm pack and a bit of extra fabric....I must say I love using charm packs. Of course you can make your own charm packs by cutting out squares but I really love the ease of just buying a pack and having the variety they offer. Drop over to Kelly's blog and read what you will need to make a great set of bags and accessories. She has listed what you need to get together to start sewing along with her over the next eight weeks.

Sewing Caddy Tutorial

Love this sewing caddy from Gina at ginabean handmade .

I think it would make a great gift, check out the pockets on the sides, fill it with a pattern and some fat quarters or maybe some sewing notions, a pretty length of lace and some buttons and you would make a Quilty/Crafting friend or swap buddy really happy.

Retro Vintage Style Apron

Anybody who knows me knows I don't really like cooking....but I do think aprons are cute and would be a lovely accessory to hang in the kitchen even if it doesn't get use. Sew4home has free pattern to grab if you want to make this lovely apron up.
